Sr. Manager Area Safety (Illness Program-Poultry)

The position is responsible for developing and maintaining plans for the We Care safety implementation programs across multiple facilities, supporting We Care working team(s) project plans, work collaboratively with internal and external customers, and manage resources for the various work steams. In addition, the essential functions of this position, in conjunction with the SVP Health & Safety, will include the following: establish and maintain project plans, timelines, and status updates for each We Care site-level implementations; support internal TEAM Members and external customers in assisting with scheduling, coordinating, and implementation.

We Care initiatives and work steams; participate and engage with all We Care working team(s), including sharing plans and providing updates to all levels of leadership; develop project management system and reporting tools; build strong working relationships with all levels throughout the company, as well as, external customers; manage multiple projects; ability to identify problems and provide solutions. 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Experience: 10+ years of experienced; experience in operations, safety, project management, or communications preferred  
  • Computer Skills: Standard computer skills 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills  
  • Special Skills: Ability to develop, build, and maintain strong internal and external working relationships; strong program planning experience is desirable  
  • Supervisory: None  
  • Travel: Extensive travel will be expected
