Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant

Occupational Services, Inc. (OSI) is actively seeking to hire a Senior EHS Consultant, which requires 6-10 years of experience and at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Safety Management or Occupational Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge in managing safety programs and ensuring compliance with Cal/OSHA, Fire Department and Environmental Health Department regulations. Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills are mandatory. It’s essential that this person have an extraverted personality and be good at relationship building with customers. Furthermore, the applicant must be able to work independently in a productive small business environment and possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing to market, promote, and increase the company’s services.

Position Description:
The successful candidate will provide services in the following areas:

  • Function as the EHS Manager at client facilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs
  • Deliver EHS Presentations
  • Perform site EHS audits
  • Prepare regulatory permits
  • Act as a liaison during City, County and State regulatory inspections
  • Arrange for the proper disposal of hazardous, radioactive, and biohazardous waste
  • Other EHS services as requested.
