Senior Environmental Engineer 1221

We are recruiting for Senior Environmental Engineer in Orlando, FL. Relocation available within the US, Job 1221. This is a full-time position with our client. Response Instruction listed below. 

Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible to align Environmental Compliance processes with business goals to engage employees to promote behaviors and anticipate obstacles that will achieve the highest levels of productivity and compliance possible.  

Minimum Requirements: 

  • All potential candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States, employer sponsorship is not available.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited College / University in Environmental Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida
  • Seven (7) or more years of Environmental Compliance with a focus on Water related concerns
  • Demonstrated success leading efficient and effective compliance programs regarding Federal, Florida State and local Safety and Multi-Media Environmental regulations
  • Demonstrated success building positive relationships with regulators

Additional Preferred Competencies: 

  • Geographic Information Services (GIS) experience
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience
  • Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline or MBA

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Perform Water Resource Engineering and prepare related design engineering plans
  • Prepare construction plans
  • Prepare documents regarding drainage, hydraulics, hydrology, etc.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with federal, state and local regulators
  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiative regarding Environmental policies and programs
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local Environmental regulations
