Chubb Global Risk Advisors: Safety Specialist

Provide superior environmental, health and safety services, adhering to Chubb Global Risk Advisors standard operating protocols and client specific scope of service.  This opportunity consists of onsite support at a client site in Tucker, Georgia, five days a week, M-F, for a minimum of three (3) months.

We are seeking a safety professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Tucker, Georgia.

Job duties and experience required include the following:

  • Perform gap analysis of lab, warehouse, office and process areas for ongoing OSHA compliance.
  • Assist with updating confined space, LOTO, Emergency response plan,  and Spill  Prevention Cleanup and Countermeasures (SPCC) plan.
  • Lead safety risk assessment analysis in 11 defined key areas.
  • Assist with updating safety training records for site.
  • Assist with updating standard operational procedures and quality documents to maintain OSHA compliance.
  • Assist with industrial hygiene monitoring using company provided by insurance company.
  • Familiar with OHSAS 18001 a plus.
  • Assist with EPA audit preparedness for site

Education and Certificates Required:

  • Bachelors in safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental science. 

10 plus years of safety/Environmental, Health, and Safety experience.  

Equipment and Software Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point; proficient in navigating OSHA, EPA and other key Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations/web sites.

Must be able to conduct site walkthroughs and inspections/audits.
