Safety Program Manager

Do you take pride improving the safety and health of those around you? If so, bring your positive energy to ATC!

We’re looking for a Safety Program Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive safety and health program that is responsible for the safety of ATC office and field employees, contractors and the public.

This position is a key coordination point for interactions between applicable departments within ATC, local distribution company contractors and construction contractors on matters related to safety.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of an associate’s degree with coursework in occupational safety, industrial hygiene or related discipline to support field personnel with safety observation programs and oversee the safety of the work being done on our ATC footprint.

Responsibilities:
You’ll use your experience in both field and office safety work to perform job hazard analysis and site audits and use that data to recommend appropriate courses of action. You’ll use your ability to interpret electrical utility and construction regulations to complete incident and investigation reports, apparent cause evaluations and root cause investigations to recommend safety program enhancements.

You’ll use your analytical skills to track safety metrics and perform data analytics to identify safety trends and use that data to design, develop and maintain ATC-wide safety procedures. This role is a mix of 80 % in the office and 20% in the field and you will be making a difference in the lives of our employees, our contractors and the public.

Our field employees and contractors are working hard to keep the lights on, businesses running and communities strong and we are working hard to keep them safe. If safety is at the forefront of everything you do, join a culture that has been nationally recognized four years in a row!
