Remediation/Senior Project Manager

HRP Associates Inc., is seeking a Remediation/Sr. Project Manager with 15+ years of experience to add to our growing corporate headquarters located in Farmington, CT. The Remediation Project Manager is responsible for completing remediation projects in complex settings with minimal supervision and teams of staff with various levels of experience.  This position will participate in PM marketing assignments and campaigns, as well as actively work with Regional Managers to develop business and technical skills for further company advancement.  The Remediation/Sr. Project Manager will also mentor junior staff for further development.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage full-cycle remediation on complicated large scale projects
  • Successfully implement multiple remedial approaches
  • Develop, design, and implement Sampling and Analysis Plans for multiple forms of environmental media (soil, sediment, water and air).
  • Prepare contract plans and technical specifications
  • Proposal development
  • Client & business development
  • Report preparation


  • We are looking for creative, results driven individuals with strong backgrounds in team management, geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, environmental science, or related fields.  
  • BS/MS in Geology, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences
  • Minimum 15 years of experience completing remediation projects and environmental investigation
  • PE/PG/LEP  license preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated success in planning, developing and executing field investigation/remedial strategies for pollutants in various geologic settings
  • Experience with EPA Brownfield’s, CT Remediation Standard Regulations and CT Property Transfer or Voluntary Remediation Programs,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in MS Office products
  • Capable of working both independently and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated, energetic professional
  • Some knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations/programs relating to environmental, health, and safety within the U.S. and Canada
  • Demonstrated some expertise in understanding and interpreting federal, state, and local environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards and applicable consensus standards
  • Demonstrated some capabilities in presenting ideas written and orally within a cross-functional environment
