Regional HSE Manager

Due to continued and sustained growth a specialist industrial services contractor is looking for a Regional EHS Manager to join their team, based out of their Atlanta Office. You would be responsible for the management of both the EHS and Industrial Hygiene programs throughout the region, driving forward best practice across all operational projects.

The Role:

  • Undertake job-site inspections, accident investigations and audits as deemed necessary
  • Working closely alongside the Corporate EHS Director in analyzing safety metrics & KPIs at a project level, identifying trends and utilizing results to address safety priorities across the business
  • Keep up to date with any and all legislation change from industry regulators e.g. OSHA - ensuring compliance to all industry related standards
  • Help in the development of the company industrial hygiene strategy, putting forward action plans and training programs to ensure regulatory compliance across all active projects
  • Act as a support function for project based safety staff, offering insight on any EHS issues or queries that may arise

 

The Candidate:

  • At a minimum you will need 10 years hands on EHS experience within either Industrial Services, Construction, Engineering or similar environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or related discipline (required)
  • You will need to be a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and would also ideally be a Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, across all business levels
  • Based from their Atlanta Office and able to travel across the Gulf South
