Project Manager - EHS Management Systems (Atlanta)

ERM is seeking a Project Manager - EHS Management Systems with midstream Oil & Gas operations experience to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. In this ground floor role, you will manage a client relationship to develop operating procedures for health and safety management systems in alignment with the client's local and international requirements. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging EHS management projects for large global clients.


  • Serve as project manager for a critical project involving developing and implementing operating procedures required for HSE Management Systems.
  • Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance and EHS management system projects.
  • Develop EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
  • Design and implement EHS management systems and programs for clients.
  • Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
  • Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and other Project Managers to effectively manage and deliver projects.
  • Effectively steward and build client relationships leading to repeat business.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees.


  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in engineering, safety, environmental science, business administration, or related discipline.
  • 7 to 12 years of environmental, and/or health and safety experience in industrial environments, preferably in process plants, mining, midstream oil and gas, or on construction projects. Power or chemical sector experience desired.
  • Experience in Risk Assessment, Emergency Response and Incident Management in addition to Safety, Health, and Environmental issues a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills; experience writing comprehensive technical reports.
  • Ideal candidate is able to take direction and work independently; must be detail oriented.
  • Strong MS Office computer skills required; advanced understanding of Excel and databases desired.
  • Experience maintaining corporate management standards (either as a consultant or an internal compliance officer).
