Industrial Hygienist (IH) / Loss Control Consultant

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Interprets EPA, OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA standards and regulations
  • Investigation to root cause and development of corrective actions
  • Data analysis of leading and lagging performance indicators
  • Manage complex projects that assist clients with risk reduction, mitigation of hazards, and establishment of policies and procedures to control risk
  • Assist clients with strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement
  • Advanced skills in Industrial Hygiene monitoring, sampling techniques, and analysis of data
  • Highly skilled in analytical chemistry and sampling selection and completion


  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, engineering, or related technical field
  • Master’s Degree with technical focus in Industrial Hygiene preferred
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of environmental, health, safety, and ergonomics with advanced skills and knowledge in industrial hygiene
  • Strong written and verbal skills, to include technical report writing
  • Training in a variety of settings and audiences
  • Strong problem solving, collaboration, coaching and influencing, and facilitation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of analytical investigative tools
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience with Industrial Hygiene equipment and sampling techniques
  • Experience with Workers’ Compensation, Auto Liability, General Liability, and Property Insurance coverages strongly preferred
  • Experience in working with regulatory agencies strongly preferred
