Mid and Senior Level Environmental Scientists needed!

Looking to strengthen your current skill set as a Senior Environmental Scientist? Do you excel at developing solutions to challenges? We are hiring motivated individuals who enjoy working on projects from small retail stations to complex active remediation sites.

We have on-going projects with oil and gas, energy, and chemical companies conducting environmental remediation throughout NJ and lower NY in all phases of SI, RI, and RA.

Complex projects include in-situ remediation, groundwater and wastewater treatment plants, landfill remediation, SVE systems, large scale excavations, and LNAPL treatment systems.  

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of documents such as SIR/RIR/RAR reports with minimal oversight, synthesize analytical data, and develop conceptual site models
  • Detail-oriented, team player with good written and oral communication, analytical, organization, and time management skills
  • Task management including preparation of proposals, field team management, schedule management, and project organization
  • Intermittent field work may be required based on project needs  

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4-year degree in a science curriculum related to the assigned discipline
  • 5-10 years of expertise focusing on Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, and Remedial Activities for sites located in New Jersey
  • A strong familiarity with NJDEP Technical Requirements for Site Remediation, NJDEP Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites, and NJ Field Sampling Manual is required
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently or as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training
  • Requires a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of all environmental rules and regulations
