Environmental Project Manager (Site Investigation & Remediation)

HRP Associates Inc., is seeking candidates with experience in developing clients and managing staff to complete environmental due diligence projects for financial, industrial and government clients for our busy Clifton Park, NY office. Assignments will include management of Phase I Site Assessments, Phase II site investigations, remediation projects, and Brownfields projects on a wide variety of challenging projects.   Experience working with multidiscipline engineering teams and contractors/construction managers is ideal.

Ideal candidates will meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. Maximize team Time Utilization, profit and revenue with regards to completing environmental Due Diligence projects (i.e. Phase I site Assessment, Site Investigations and remediation projects).   Work continually with management to maintain and grow existing clients and capture new clients.  Develop, train, and mentor staff and manage staff effectively to meet goals. 

  • Knowledge of Phase I/II’s ASTM Standard, State/EPA regulations, guidance (i.e. DER10)
  • Ability to mentor and develop staff
  • Generate new business through industry contacts and current/previous clients
  • Established relationships within the industry that would allow you to generate new business as this is a Seller/Doer role
  • Ability to assist in development and implementation of marketing efforts at both the program and project level
  • At least 5 years of experience completing/managing investigation, reporting and remediation projects
  • BS or MS Degree in Engineering, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related scientific or technical field
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of NY State and Federal laws and regulations (PA and NJ is a plus)
