Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Technician

The most exciting challenges still lie ahead, and we invite you to grow with us. EH&S Technician In partnership with the EHS Manager, candidate coordinates/schedules/executes activities to meet compliance deadlines. 

Examples include:   

  • Performs timely weekly inspections of Satellite and Main Accumulation waste areas. Safety eyewashes etc. to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains EHS inspection records: examples include: hoists, wastewater sampling, stormwater sampling, eyewash/showers, satellite & main waste accumulation areas.
  • Orders vendor services and co-ordinates pre-ship analysis; vendor profiles, and purchasing requirements for safety/environmental supplies.
  • Maintains regulatory files of proper state hazardous waste permits, environmental permits and other EHS program documentation.
  • Tracks hazardous waste shipping manifests to assure proper disposal.
  • Assists in scheduling and executing EHS training.
  • Contributes to EHS training content.
  • Maintains electronic calendar of required tasks to ensure on-time execution of EHS programs (e.g. groundwater/storm water sampling, waste shipments, etc.).
  • Submits data to online repositories as required.


  • Minimum of two years’ education or experience in the EHS or environmental compliance field or comparable education and skill transfer.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient writing skills.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Online research. Database entry.
  • Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible for this position.
