The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an EHS and Quality Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Ensure the safe and compliant operation of the Tonawanda Site
  • Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for EHS and Quality to support overall business needs
  • Manage the maintenance of, and improvements in the sites implementation of 3M’s EHS and Quality Management Systems
  • Interact with internal auditors and regulatory agencies
  • Lead/participate in incident investigation and/or response teams for EHS incidents
  • Lead projects, linking project steps to business strategies

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years of combined experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) in a manufacturing/production environment (private, public, government or military) 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Health, Safety, Engineering, Science or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three (3) years supervisory/management experience that includes project leadership
  • Previous experience at multiple manufacturing sites
  • Proven track record of managing an organization to achieve operational objectives
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB)/Quality Improvement certification

 

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
