Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Manager

Under the Guidance of the Director of Regulatory Affairs, the EHS Manager will direct all Safety, Health and Environmental (S/H/E) regulatory compliance for the company; Oversee training and development of programs that will enhance safety within all plant facilities and reduce the number of accidents and improve the Workmens Compensation Insurance rates; Champion safety efforts by promoting safety programs and involving leadership participation to drive safety as the top priority for Kleen Test Products. 

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure all sites compliance to all Federal, State, and Local S/H/E regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all sites compliance to all customer S/H/E requirements
  • Conduct Safety Audits at all sites
  • Coordinate all safety meetings within company
  • Correspond to all S/H/E regulatory communications
  • Submit required reports and documents to regulatory agencies and customer contacts in a timely manner
  • Lead accident investigations and determination of root cause/preventative measures
  • Ensure activities related to waste management are executed in compliance with applicable standards

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B. A.) in Safety or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of OHSA regulations related to a manufacturing environment
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work extra hours when necessary to handle spikes in workload and meet deadlines.
