Environmental Engineer

This is a full time position that is responsible for assisting with the management of remediation projects at various properties located throughout the country. Primarily responsible for overseeing operations of a water/wastewater treatment facility, managing contractors, and assisting with onsite studies and investigations. Secondary responsibilities include managing the multi-year program schedule for remediation investigation at all other sites across the US. 

Required Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (US accredited school).
  • 10 plus years of progressive experience (within a private consulting firm) in environmental conceptual design, remedial design, or remedial construction at CERCLA and/or RCRA sites.
  • PE certification in Nevada, or ability to acquire within 3 months / gain reciprocity.
  • Strong environmental processes of cleaning up sites (water/groundwater contamination).
  • 3 plus years of Project Management experience with excellent technical ability to manage onsite contractors.
  • Strong multitasking skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Verifiable work references to validate professionalism, high integrity, transparency, ethics, and accountability.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%.

Desired Skills: 

  • Prior experience overseeing operations of pump and treat remediation systems at large-scale treatment plants with water/wastewater systems (Municipal or Industrial).
