EHS Training Specialist [SC-11591]

An EHS consulting firm is looking to make additions to its team in the Greater Boston Area. This company has a long history of delivering for hundreds of clients throughout New England, and is now experiencing rapid growth during following unprecedented demand for its services during COVID.

The EHS Training Specialist will be responsible for training/mentoring consultants on how to interact with clients, as well as providing guidance on technical EHS requirements to these individuals.Therefore, it is essential that candidates have experience of managing EHS within the life sciences sector.

The role:

  • Development and maintenance of templates, presentations and EHS documentation used by consultants when providing EHS services to clients
  • Mentor and onboard new EHS consultants, providing 1-on-1 support and working alongside team leaders to ensure the development of staff
  • Research EHS regulatory requirements and provide concise advice to consultants so that they can better service client needs
  • Develop internal training (both online and in-person) to educate personnel on updates to company services, EHS regulations or other developmental areas
  • Provide ad-hoc support to consultants and clients when specific needs arise, working with some accounts on a continual basis

 

The candidate:

  • 5+ years' EHS experience in the life sciences sector (e.g. pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, academic research, etc.)
  • Prior training/mentoring experience
  • Bachelor's degree at a minimum (preferably in Biology/Chemistry)
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations in the life sciences sector (e.g. OSHA, EPA, NIH, CDC, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
