A global manufacturing company is seeking an EHS Manager to lead the EHS function at a site in the King of Prussia area. Managing a small team of direct reports, the EHS Manager will be responsible for managing the EHS programs, fostering a healthy safety culture, and overseeing all training at the plant level. This is a highly visible role, requiring the incumbent to possess an ability to interact and communicate with various levels of the business.
The Role:
- Influences Plant, Production, Operations, Maintenance and site management to drive the EHS performance and results.
- Supports company interface with regulatory authorities for regulatory visits, requests and submissions for the region.
- Monitors changes to all EHS regulations pertaining to their area and reviews recommendations for incorporation into EHS management systems and standards in a timely manner.
- Accountable for managing site EHS documentation to include program design, EHS data collection and posting, training documentation, and EHS KPI reports.
The Candidate:
- 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting, chemicals strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing direct reports
- B.S. Degree in Safety or Environmental Sciences, or related technical field
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others
