Care Initiatives, Iowa's largest not for profit senior care provider, is now hiring a Director of Risk Management based at Care Initiatives Corporate Office. 
This vital role oversees risk management activities including:

  • Coordinates liability coverage, processes claims filed, interfaces with legal counsel, complies with risk management standards set by regulatory agencies, promotes patient & employee safety, and strives to minimize loss to protect Care Initiatives assets.   
  • This position reports to our CFO and serves as our liaison for attorneys and insurance companies.  
  • The Director of Risk Management will support the company's mission, core values, and provide exceptional customer service to our employees, residents, and guests.

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management or Safety plus 5 years Risk Management experience in long-term care! 
  • This position requires extensive in state travel to our 40+ Iowa locations. 
  • Must have flexibility for overnight stays as needed.
