My client is a growing $100M+ Specialty Chemicals company with over 60+ operations in 49 States.  Their continued expansion has afforded them the exciting opportunity to add more positions to their Corporate Team.  We are now looking to add an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist (EHS) who will report directly to the Director of Operations.  As you can imagine, this is truly an exciting opportunity for someone to make a very big impact and contribution to a flourishing organization.  Company culture is second to none as they always strive to keep customers and team members at the forefront of all that they do.

The objective of this role is to support the company in addressing safety issues and to develop and implement an Environmental and Occupational Safety Program properly and culturally.  This person would develop an understanding of the company's culture and help train or coach the Manufacturing Centers (as opposed to “police” them) on how to implement the Safety Program properly.

Additionally this person would oversee regulatory compliance for all of the company as it pertains to chemical manufacturing and delivery.  This includes EPA, OSHA, DOT and all government agencies federal, state, and local.

My client has low turnover and a culture that is positive with a collaborative team oriented approach to supporting customers.  They provide a balanced life style and encourage employees’ family time.  Good health habits are also important, and they provide on-site fitness programs for all employees as well as a competitive benefit package
