Air Compliance Engineer [TM-10857]

A global chemical manufacturer is looking to appoint an Environmental Engineer to join their existing EHS department at one of their key locations, based near Victoria, TX. Supported by a wider EHS team at the site level, as well as corporate EHS resources, the Environmental Engineer will be the subject matter expert for air permitting and compliance across the facility. 

The Role:

  • Serves as the technical expert for the site’s air compliance with all requirements, including Title V, LDAR, and NESHAPS
  • Interpreting regulations and requirements into developed and implemented programs to ensure site compliance
  • Manages, develops, and submits permit renewals, modifications, and other activities as necessary
  • Acts as mediator between the site and EPA on air compliance and permitting
  • Maintains and submits accurate compliance reports and records and emissions

The Candidate:

  • 5-7+ years in environmental roles within a chemical or refinery environment
  • Strong working knowledge of managing air compliance at a chemical or refinery environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferable
