Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator [ND-10448]

A leading global chemical manufacturer is looking to appoint a Senior EHS Coordinator to oversee a high-risk production facility at one of their locations near Beaumont, TX. The incumbent will be supported by a wider EHS team across the region, as well as EHS/PSM subject matter experts within the corporate function. The successful candidate will need a strong understanding of Safety, IH, and Environmental programs, tasked with influencing a healthy safety culture, requiring the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels of the business

The Role:

  • Influences Plant, Production, Operations, Maintenance and site management to drive the EHS performance and results.
  • Supports company interface with regulatory authorities for regulatory visits, requests and submissions for the region.
  • Monitors changes to all EHS regulations pertaining to their area and reviews recommendations for incorporation into EHS management systems and standards in a timely manner.
  • Accountable for managing site EHS documentation to include program design, EHS data collection and posting, training documentation, and EHS KPI reports.
  • Participates as a leader for audits and assigns EHS resources to audits in their area.


The Candidate:

  • 5+ years in operational and EHS roles within a manufacturing environment (preferably chemical production)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in EHS, IH, Physical Science/Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Understanding of process safety (preferable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others
  • ASP, CSP, or CIH strongly preferred
