Mabbett & Associates, Inc. (Mabbett®) is seeking to hire full and/or part-time Industrial Hygiene (IH) Consultants who have a strong IH background and work ethics. The individuals selected for these positions will perform IH surveys at U.S. Army installations worldwide.
The Industrial Hygiene Technician(s) shall have 1+ years of broad-scope IH experience or safety and occupational health. Broad-scope IH experience is defined as: performing evaluations of work environments & industrial processes (e.g. thermal stressors, noise, toxicology, biohazards, ergonomic) involving potentially hazardous environment conditions, analysis of findings to provide recommendations of corrective measures (e.g. non-engineering controls & engineering controls), and industrial hygiene investigations (e.g. ergonomic & indoor air quality) using industrial hygiene equipment and sampling techniques for standard chemical and physical hazards.
These position will provide technical support at Army installations worldwide with conducting and executing Industrial Hygiene (IH) baseline surveys (baseline workplace assessments), ventilation evaluations and noise surveys. The selected consultants shall be responsible for demonstrating and performing on-site IH workplace assessments at Army installations. The Army installations include depots, arsenals, garrisons, laboratories, and other functionally diverse installation types. Staff will collect, evaluate and record all data collected as a result of the assessments into DoD DOEHRS-IH web-based software program.
These positions involve travel and telecommuting and/or working from a Mabbett office for data entry. Most surveys range from 2 – 3 weeks on-site.
