Position Description:
Bureau Veritas North America, Inc. is seeking an environmental consultant to join our center of excellence for Due Dilegence services for customers throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.   

Responsibilities:
As a  member of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team, this individual will support due dilegence investigations with a primary focus on NEPA and Section 106 Review projects and Environmental Assessments.  The individual will also assist with other environmental services, such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II investigations, and asbestos and lead-based paint surveys.       

The individual will also be responsible for:

  • Teaming with staff and management to ensure proper work scoping, planning and implement activities;
  • Achieving client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality; and
  • Maintaining relationships with clients.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication (written/verbal), organization, and strategic thinking skills;
  • Ability to multi-task, and ability to work independently;
  • Positive outlook, collaborative, and driven;
  • Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license;
  • Prior to employment with BVNA; the candidate must successfully pass a health physical and drug/alcohol screening; and
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite


Required Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in Environmental Sciences or related discipline required;
  •  to 5 years of EHS consulting experience
