EHS Specialist

Requirements to be considered for the EHS Specialist role: 

  • B.S. in Environmental Science/Safety/Related
  • 3+ years of environmental and safety experience in a chemical/continuous process environment preferably in a plant setting
  • CalOSHA, Air Quality and California regulatory requirements familiarity/experience
  • Wastewater treatment experience is a strong plus 

Responsibilities of the EHS Specialist: 

  • Federal/state/local EHS requirements compliance
  • Environmental Regulations – Tier II reports, air permitting, updating SPCC plan, storm water, etc.
  • Provide expertise with respect to air emissions, wastewater/waste management via permit implementation and reporting
  • Assist in planning/implementing/maintaining EHS programs
  • Safety related risk assessments/job hazard analyses
  • Participate in Root Cause Investigations
