Virginia Commonwealth University is proud to administer a Master of Public Health Program through the Department of Epidemiology and Community Health in the School of Medicine. The program enjoys strong support from the administration, from the President of the University to the Dean of the School of Medicine.

The Mission of the Program is strongly linked to the Mission and Goals of the University and provides strong support for the University’s role as an urban university. The location of the University in the State Capitol of Virginia, in close proximity to the Central Office of the Virginia Department of Health and a number of public and private health care agencies, provides our students with a rich laboratory for public health research and experience.
